🎶 Nightly Village

What it is: A festive open-air marketplace with food, drinks, local vendors, and live music every night.

🎨 J’ouvert (pronounced “joo-vay”)

What it is: A pre-dawn street party where people dance through the streets behind music trucks, often covered in paint, powder, or mud.
Vibe: Wild, energetic, and messy — a “let go and get loose” type of celebration.
Think: A sunrise bash with music, drinks, and paint flying everywhere! (1 am until)

What it is: The grand Carnival parade featuring masqueraders (like you!) in full costume, dancing down the streets behind their bands for hours.
Vibe: High-energy, colorful, and performance-focused — this is the main event for showing off your costume and vibes.

Margaritaville is located on the eastern side of the island approx 5-8 miles from the main J'ouvert route and carnival village area in downtown Charlotte Amalie (West End of the island). This resort is walking distance to the popular Coki Point Beach. 

It is located in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands which means that you do not need a passport if traveling from the USA. This also means that just like the hotels located in your local city, it is not all inclusive.
